Swiming For My Life

I'm in the water,
The sharks give me no quarter,
I'm not too sure,
If I'll make it,
And if I ought'a
I'm tired,
I've been swiming so long,
I need a rest,
No longer care about,
right or wrong,

I'm slipping beneath the wave,
To my ultimate salty grave,
A peace does come over me,
I wonder just how that that could be,

One last wave of my hand at sky
In greetings to God, I don't deny,
And to the angels I now see who fly,
It's a glorious way to die.
