Sweetness Dripping
The
rain
drips
slowly
on supple
petals. Moist
gentle breeze
blows soft against
bending stems of verdant
color. Dancing crystals blink
bright in lost morning dreams. Drip,
drip from each crimson flower, I watch
your splendor, seeking solace, caught in
meager meadows waving, grains of grass
forever moving with your wisps of breath
is dripping, longing for dawns light you
quiver, as drops of rain kiss tender
leaflets that drink the nectar
freely given.
