Sweetly Infused
Teapot whistling
Wisps of steam billowing out from the spout.
Teacup patiently awaiting the piping water to accompany her loose leaf tea.
With a steady hand, I pour the whistling teapot's boiling water into my teacup, watching as the steam flows off into the air.
Slowly brewing, what was once clear water is turning shades of pink.
After five minutes of brewing, the water is infused to perfection, its color a deep maroon.
With wisps of steam emerging from my teacup, I cautiously bring it to my lips.
Sipping, the hot tea covers my tongue.
Admiring the sweet, infused taste.
A drink to warm even the coldest souls.
