Sweetest Woman I Ever Knew
she was a big more pungent today than I imagined possible
and I thought she was gamey yesterday
That is the problem when you are in love with a corpse
I put more perfume on her; that usually does the trick.
Not this time. There was something wrong and her face is melting.
I wanted advice but trusted no one with my secret love.
She was shy and did not cotton up well to strangers.
if this did not keep up I might have to let her go.
And I was determined to not do that.
She was the most calm and sweet woman I had ever known.
She listened to all my woes, and she did this nightly
Without interruption.
Do you know how rare that is?
