Sweet Words

Sweet Words

Speak to me sweet words of a romantic kind.
Reach deep within our love to which we bind.
Then gently touch passions with soothing verbs.
Of a type that excites like scent ripened herbs.

Declarations streaming whispered softly to me.
Ones of great power voiced in loving honesty.
Utterances transmitted through moist soft lips.
Words of a rose blossom's bloom dew that drips.

This is what I need to feed my feelings desire.
Igniting this soul with adoring, torrid fire.
A kind of moist candy to sweeten my spirit.
Craving, I tremble and quiver just to hear it.

With a pen of passion, sketch me loves art.
Pressing fragrant oaths upon this panting heart.
Inform me gently with lettered promises true.
From the depths of your being through and through.

Speak to me sweet words from your loving chest.
Breathless, I lay there for they caress me to rest.
Please speak forever of your love's rich reflection.
From your heart only, these sweet words of affection.

This is so beautiful and romantic, playful and poetic- all at the same time. I just love when verbs gently touch passion. :) Brandy
