Sweet Treats
They ventured to their garden rendezvous just past the twelfth hour
He wanted her that evening; he wanted control, to have the power.
She wanted to be taken, passionately, but with sincere emotion
He would see her, smell her, tease her, love and devour.
They were to meet nearest the roses, together they had grown
Each wanted the other so much as if to each, to own.
The love wouldn’t subside ever, that they felt deep inside
When their eyes met, into the arms the other they had flown.
The love they had for each other started when eyes met on the street
Something grabbed them each deep inside as hearts skipped a beat
They knew they were each others destiny, forever then on in
As they meet morning, noon and night, just to savor lover’s treats.
