Sweet the Taste of Parted Lips
Sweet the taste of parted lips
Sweet the taste of parted lips
sipped gently from the vine
Droplets of sensation fill
this cup your precious wine
Take this weary minstrel
to the lyrics of your song
Drape me with your beauty
as we lie here all night long
Lead me unto valleys drenched
in wishes formed to trace
Showing every pleasure
as it flows upon your face
Slowly guiding down below
this aching sunset gleam
Saturated quivers
wading softly in the stream
Whispering affections
harmonize with satin skin
Woven fingers longing
for the moment to begin
Clutching tight the passion
as a sighing river flows
Darkness pleading deeper
where a crescent moonbeam glows
Bound of every ecstasy
the hour does fulfill
Spread amongst the evergreens
midst autumn breezes still
Echoes of desire waft
between your heart and mine
Sweet the taste of parted lips
sipped gently from the vine
Good night Soupers
Have a nice weekend
