Sweet, Sweet Breath of Heaven

Sweet, Sweet Breath of Heaven [Prayer] “ 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,” Eph 5:18-19 NIV Sweet, sweet breath of heaven I feel your soft breeze upon my face. It is so cooling in the warm evening; O for the gift of heaven’s grace. That breeze rustles the leaves that fell From that sturdy, old oak tree. The presence of your joy and peace Has fallen sweetly upon me. Sweet, sweet breath of heaven Use me to shed your radiance. You are my Comforter and power; My enabler of sweet repentance. Enable me to remain still Until the storm clouds pass. Enable me to hear your voice When temptations my path trespass. Sweet, sweet breath of heaven You are in abundant supply. I’ll plead for you each morning; Upon your presence daily rely. I can’t fight life’s battles In my human flesh. Enable me to see my vulnerability; My need of your presence to enmesh. Sweet, sweet breath of heaven There’s a purpose greater than me. Enable me not to lose sight Of my heavenly gifts and ability. They are for heaven’s purpose And not for those of my own. Please remove that selfishness That still rests on this soul’s throne. A-men Copyright © 2012 Maureen LeFanue www.maureenlefanue.com

Beautiful prayer, Maureen. I'm going to use this one if you don't mind! Also a great reminder of James 1:17, all good and perfect gifts come from God (for His purpose not ours). Blessings, Rhonda

Very beautiful heavenly thoughts Maureen. The words flow so beautifully. A pray of meaning toward the end also. Agape, Moses
