Sweet Spring
In the dusting of the springtime
Sweet scented thoughts of yesterday
The singing of the birds that rhyme
Still plays loud in the dawn of day
The sunshine smiled from up above
As we passed by the fields of green
She was my queen, I was her love
But we're just barely seventeen
I held her two hands so tightly
As I looked deep into her eyes
And with the streams singing sweetly
The world was like a paradise
Then our hungry hearts collided
All the snags of life have faded
