Inspired by a poem of Nette's. ty Nette
When you hear the gentle notes that seduce
or the crashing chords that vibrate
leaving your hairs standing on end
and goose bumps adorn your skin.
The sweet melody of a mouth organ
mingling with sharp piano notes.
The screeching notes of violins
harmonising with the wind pipes.
The tenderness that entices
and enhances as a fiddlers
fingers and bow fly entrancingly
all coming together as a whole.
The husky croon of a singer
melding with spine thrilling chords.
This and oh so very much more
is the sheer enchanting perfection.
Surely music is indeed soul food
the bass guitar throbbing
deep inside, whilst heaven wards
the rumbling rhythm soars.
