Sweet Little Lies

Those sweet little lies
Why didn't I realise.

My love for you was pure
but you tried to ignore
I should have known before
and closed my heart's door.

Those sweet little lies
Why didn't I realise.

Your laugh and your love
both were a black dove
don't want to trust you now
as you broke your vow.

Those sweet little lies
Why didn't I realise.

Countless times I cried
what if you hadn't lied
I would be your side
Our love would have survived.

Those sweet little lies
Why didn't I realise.
