Sweet Lies
Your eyes twinkle like a star
Your face like a full moon
You blush like the setting sun
Demure like a deer bounding
across the lush meadow
Your tresses like the flower-laden boughs
Your skin soft as silk
You smell fresh like a rain-washed lawn
Sprightly like a bubbly stream
You are slender as a tendril,
When I see you
I resurrect like the rising sun…
Now listen, woman,
If I don’t get my dinner pronto
You are sleeping in the garage tonight, you fat cow!
