Sweet Home

Mother blows conch shell
Dews on holy basil drip smell
Sun vermilion in sky day shy
                                      Cows return, father chants Om,
Peace all over home sweet home

It is a traditional welcome of evening in any typical Hindu Bengali home in rural Bengal.Blowing conch-shell, watering holy basil plant, welcoming cows, chanting mantras/hymns to evening God etc. Nice comments Kelly.God bless you. Love>your friend
