Sweet Dreams

Sometimes I can't stop thinking
Stuff keeps growing in my head
I try to turn my mind off
But I keep getting out of bed

Sleep is just a mystery
Something we do at night
It rests the mind and body
But my mind puts up a fight

Tossing and turning is a ritual
Trying to find the right spot
Convincing yourself you're sleepy
Even tho you know you're not

Night and day have no meaning
The two are one in the same
Sleep has somehow betrayed you
And there's no one for you to blame

You try all the conventional medicine
Nothing helps at all that you take
So, I'll be here in the morning
When the rest of you finally awake

Great rhyme and rhythm in this one..I hope not your life but just a topic..If insomnia is a problem, there are many things that can help..Like soft light at night no tv or computer screen at least 45 minutes before you want to go to sleep..Warm glass of milk...Melatonin 3mg. from plant source not animal...Sara
