My granddaughter and a sweet Dolphin at Isla Mujeres (Isle of Women), near Cancun, Mexico, 2003
With Dolphins, she swam! A glorious day, for granddaughter, so many years ago. I watched two gentle beings interplay, each, nose to nose and eye to eye- aglow. This was her highlight of our Cancun trip- to touch the Dolphin's satiny smooth skin, feel warm emotion kissing, lip to lip, and see the gentle love in his sweet grin. Our Dolphins, much like us, can understand- more than we seem to give them credit for. The care for humankind at their command; intelligent, they show their loving core. This special time will stay with her and me- forever, as our treasured memory.
