Sweet Compulsion

All those love letters left me hangin
And now I feel I have to be sayin
I don’t know what to do and
I’ve never felt like this before
I see the light in her eyes
Her smile, how could I not realize
It took so long but now I see
And I’ve never felt like this before

This fire burning in me
For this girl, maybe she’ll see
But I don’t see how
Maybe I’m just crazy
She stops, and then she turns around
Shoots me a smile, drops me to the ground
She leaves and I’m left catchin my breathe
She’s drivin me crazy!

It’s like a fire that’s burning me up inside
A new addiction, begging me to try
Temptation, hurts until I cry… out…
It’s the water foaming around my hips
Dragging me under, I’m coming to grips
It’s now, she’s there and I can't fight this…
Sweet compulsion!
