No one can sing like Perry Como can sing. I recognize his songs on the first note; what a gorgeous voice! Thanks for the memories.

My late Mother was a big fan of Perry's; I've got a lot of her old records that I still manage to listen to. Mom did love music. Well done.

Your mom had a lot of company. Perry Como was beloved by many. I enjoyed himself myself as a youngster. Thanks for the feedback! Season's best! ~ Gershon

How excited I am to read this! Some of my friends haven't heard of Perry Como, but he dated my Aunt Gene (Genevieve) and gave her a pretty ruby ring, her birthstone. When she married my uncle, Aunt Gene gave the ring to me. It's my birthstone too and it piqued my interest in jewelry at age 9. I love this clerihew and am keeping it in my faves. I wish Aunt Gene were alive so I could send it to her. Thank you for making my morning, Gershon! Hugs, Carolyn
