Sweat Was Born
rain swung to the tune of
the western wind embalming
the thirst of the angry earth
quenched releasing opening
the pores, sweat was born
the drumming of the delicate
heart rattled the roof
of the sensitive soul
presenting, tiny bubbles of
blood reverberated
