What a perfect description of a hot summer afternoon when nothing but the cicada moves. Your images and words perfectly convey stifling heat. Wonderfully crafted Jo. You put me right in the middle of an afternoon heat wave. Congratulations on your win. Love reading your very inventive haikus! Blessings of cool breezes.
