Suspended Tag

Suspended tag…

Look at me just riding around trying to look cool
Have you ever had the suspended tag blues?
That’s when your suppose to keep the car parked
But me I just wait to do anything till after dark

Each street or corner I turn I’m dodging the cops
Making sure to be quick and swift at every stop
There comes a time when you’ll see the blue lights
Or maybe little men far away in uniform on bikes

Now you get pull over for having a suspended tag
Little did you know that joy ride wouldn’t last?
Judge please, please let me plead my case
I never knew my tag was suspended in the first place

The judge said you haven’t been paying your insurance bill
Come on Mrs. Moore be for real
Well can I take you out to eat?
Mrs. Moore are you trying to bribe me
No sir judge not me
Well in that case $500 your fee
