Susie My Puppy Love

Because I know you, I have it made. Susie, you are the prettiest girl in second grade. I would rather be with you than another boy. While I have known you, I’m filled with joy. In school, you are always nearby and handy. I’ll share my lunch with you. I’ll buy you candy. Everything about you is sweet and dandy. I see you prefer me over your girl friends. My liking for you looks like it never ends. “Precocious” is what the teacher calls me. Do you know the meaning of the word? It’s a mystery.
