Survivor's Tale
I sit here and wonder, what I would do
If I experienced, the same fate as you
Would I call out to heaven, God oh why me
Or would I be thankful, on blended knee
In the end, I can only guess
You are there, you see the mess
I have time to ponder and think
You have no fresh water to drink
Actions not sympathy, are what you need
You have no time, for hollow words to read
So take my hand, let me help you out
Because in the end, that's what love's about
The storm is gone, your will remains
Let's restore the city, make it gleem again
The human spirit, is made to prevail
People will celebrate, your survivor's tale
