Surrounded

I am always surrounded by past
Though im constantly lost in the present,
The future presumed to be last
Is at cost of what we consented...
So whenever a notion is bound
By a consequence or by an action
The frame in which you then are found
Changes one after it by a fraction...
And never a chance to go back
As the illusion of time still advances
So clever as it loses track,
Of the number of times not the chances...
So long as the feeling regret
Claims each memory that it embeds
The things that I cannot forget
Makes it harder to change whats ahead...
I'm always surrounded by past
But its changing my present direction
So vague that if it couldnt last
Would I see myself in my reflection ...
