Surrender and Gratitude
today's day was molded pure
to a sweet surrender I'm sure
to stop the fight of life's flight
now to God I hold on tight
to choose the right of eternity
to lose what's lost, and be me
I sing with joy of abundance
gratitude for the chance of the dance
no longer in a trance to escape
my life no longer reels of red tape
as if guided imagery on my life's tape
I travel to a golden lamb, my life I shape
Gratitude in my hands I'm sure
with God's sweet love my heart is pure
now on the red carpet to heavens blue cherabims
going up a spiral ivy ridden staircase, I'm with Him!
