Surrender

Surrender

I have fought battles in my mind
Such destruction the world has ever known

I have slain thousands attacking
Me in my dreams

I have waded through trenches
Of fire burning in my soul

I have endured the pain and
Suffering in my heart

It’s been to long my spirits been at war

I lay down the sword
Take off the armor

I FIGHT NO MORE

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

That pain is deep. Reminds me of my dear nephew.
