'surreal Expectation'

looking at the crystal ball
maintaining an open mind
so loud the vernacular 
of love and ardor

          a promise without a word
                  expectation surreal
                    passion our barometer  
                      written in the stars

the two of us together
our hands entwined, binding hearts
identifiable beats 
in the crystal ball
