Surging Sea
Heartbreak hits inside
Thinking of all those moons
You and I shared with each other then
We were flowing on the
Crest, of a tidal wave a
Momentum, surging through our lives
Never saw the raging sea
Swelling up to swallow me
Seeing nothing here it comes again
What is wrong I ask of thee
As my inners tumble inside out
The chaos and we’re enemies
You asked me questions to begin, passing flatteries
That mesmerized and settled in my skin
We traversed every taboo
Flaunting everything that I thought I knew
For thrills and fantasies
Out of nowhere raging seas
Overwhelming you and me
Destroying everything we built again
I regret those things you see
Turning back the clock impossible
And chaos I’m the enemy
Heartbreak and my pride
All that’s left inside me
Wasted, moon-dust, and the flowing tide
