Surge of Truth

Unspoken power floods my mind
Imagine the truth of what’s inside
To you it’s something to betray
Your concept of truth is just a game

Commanding oceans with my rage
Crushing your heart in a tidal wave
One ripple ending all you know
A measured response with a single stone

Reckless to think that you’re untrue
When everything that we are is because of you
Play on if you must tempt the rain
Drowning yourself in the slowest way

Wake up to notice all you will
The power of self is too much to kill
Wake up and then you’ll know
The daylight ghost is coveting your flow

Unspoken words that we must find
Take back the truth of what’s inside
Oceans of self that we must cleanse
Commanding the knowledge to make amends
