Surfacing

One would sleep hours more

but begins to wake up after all;

will-o'-the-wisps/

dreams begin to drift away and vanish ...

Amazing how you captured that dreamy wake-up vibe with "Will-o'-the-wisp", feels like chasing fading dreams in the morning light. Super cool and gently mysterious!

thank you so very much, team poetrysoup! i'm very grateful for your sophisticated take, for kindly taking the time to comment. i did think that the the will o the wisp imagery would be effective, but i wasn't totally sure i nailed it. and the thing is, it came to me the other day as i was waking up while considering the nature of my dreaming as is gradually disappeared from my consciousness.
