Supposed To Be
When opinions become truth
And beliefs become laws
We all become victims
Of what we're 'supposed' to be
When we're told what to think
And how we should react
Our growth comes to a halt
And off our path we stray
Negativity permeates our heart
And no longer do we strive for greatness
We feel limited in what we can achieve
And attribute other's success to luck
Strive for self-discovery
In this world of pre-determination
Together we must break these chains
Or else fall prey to our facades
