Supplication

I was remembering a supplication
Of praising the supreme
Of asking strength to distance me
Further from the sin
Like the distance between sunrise and sunset.

I was remembering a supplication
Of a serene mind
Free of anxiety and depression
Free from stress and pain
Like the distance between heaven and hell

I was not sure, I only saw a shadow
A shadow like my mother, I thought.
I still am not sure.
