Superman Confesses

At last the truth has come out
What Superman was really about
Pressure he was under was severe
To be the very best superhero here
Captain Marvel had help of Shazam
“My power’s enhanced & here I am”
Batman had help of riches galore
To be more than he was before
Spiderman had science to his aid
With that help, he had it made
So poor Superman just had to hedge
Use something that gave him an edge
Performance-enhancing drugs he found
Let him be the strongest hero around
A mixture of every type he did try
Until he found that it let him fly
Such drug use he tried to deny
Until Lois Lane gave it the lie
The facts he decided he’d confess
So to the good Oprah did address
“I’m sorry that I did such wrong
I had to do it to be that strong”
