Upon this wonderful earth we trod
Amazed by nature, yet we insist
on paving the soil, building persist

God gave us free will, talents, and smarts
Trod not on extraordinary art
insist on preserving beauty here
Persist with this message, good and clear,

The beauty of nature is God's gift.

There's a line in the song Rocky mountain high that this reminds me of, "...of the simple thing he cannot comprehend/why they try to tear the mountains down to bring in a couple more, more people, more scars upon the land." That's a pretty close quote anyway. In the new world to come balance will be restored! Nice one Crys
