Super Pacs

Super Pacs

Super pacs are oh so wrong
In oh so many ways
Another good example
Of how corruption pays

They bypass proper process
Where voters give a buck or two
Keep controlling interest
With the very richest few

Allow saturation bombing
With TV ads and more
Greasing just a few palms 
Opens up most any door

The effect is on the voter
Caused by the Super Pacs
Saturation bombing dulls the mind
And resistance finally cracks

Giving in is easier 
Than deciding for themselves
Since many voters struggling
To put food upon their shelves

Super Pacs  not bad enough
In support of one or two
Now they're being organized
To destroy the ones who are for you

Now they're playing both sides
Anything to have their way
Don't want to take a chance at all
That we the people have a say

The establishment now wondering
Why we don't pick the parties' choice
By choosing someone “out there”
We the people have a voice

This situation's so revolting
That the country came to this
The establishment should listen
For we're facing the abyss
