Sunsplash

Golden sun rise up
Barely beyond water's edge
I try not to peek
Yesterday's blue ocean waves
Leave me sunburned and sore

I did just this today, Joseph. Spent the entire day fishing from a pier and watching the sun rise over the water, seeing a vast blue ocean filled with jumping dolphins. Got the sunburn. Argh! Beautiful image though. It truly is a spiritual experience being on the water like this. Thanks for writing, my friend. If this is for Rick's gold and blue contest, I think it's a winner. Love, Carolyn
