Author's Notes: This poem, "Sunshine Radiance," is written in Blank Verse format and is set in Iambic Pentameter (IP) and does not rhyme, which gives its verses a flavor of more flexibility. The subject is one of my classic favorites, that is, "love" -- and it touches on the deeper theme of two person's shared love being part of a true "sunshine radiance." The words and verses say the rest. Enjoy this write!! (Gary Bateman - July 7, 2015)

Sunshine Radiance Your love is my true sunshine radiance, That greets me every day with such passion. It sets my heart and emotions afire! Words often fail me at times dearest one, As I seek to share the depth of my love For you and how it makes me feel daily. The brightest of moons and stars in Heaven Can’t match the splendor you bring to my life. My heart is joyful when we touch and kiss! Our love basks in your sunshine radiance! Hello D!! Glad you liked this Blank Verse write. Thanks for the "7"!! I found this particular format set in IP to be of particular interest. (I believe this non-rhymed, iambic pentameter verse write format dates back to the days of Geoffrey Chaucer.) Take Care "D" -- And best wishes to you from Ingrid and Me!! Cheers, Gary

Hello Connie!! Thanks for your really gracious words here, and it pleases me that you liked this write. Although I'm actually a multi-thematic writer, my wife, Ingrid now calls me "The Love Poet." I told her though that come October, it will be a month of dark writes only!! (HA, HA). Love is that one emotion that's so evocative and is so much a part of our lives. Thanks for the "7" too. Best Always, Gary
