Sunshine (I Wish)

I wish you were mine, all mine.
     So I could bathe in your sunshine....
          I wish there was something I could say or do.
               Ask questions, take my answers under review-
                    Consider it an interview....
I wish you would be open-minded enough to give me a chance.
     I'm willing to go in blinded giving you love in advance.
          Me + you combined together = romance....
               I wish you would think about me like I think about you.
                    Let go of the old and try a little new.
                         Listen to your conscience and follow through....
I wish you would whisper sweet nothings in my ear.
     Then kiss my lips softly and take my body beyond the stratosphere....
I wish your heart would respond without fear.
     We could have a bond that would recite works by shakespeare....
I wish things weren't as they are.
     On prisonpenpals.com you will find 'A Fallen Star!"
I wish you would digest the meaning in this titles headline.
     I just want to bask in your sunshine....

It is a lucky woman that will be your sunshine as she is sure to find that like gold, the rays of light from your love will light a path for her to find a way out of her darkness.
