Sunsets For the Wise
Cream colored clouds, shine above the hill
Leading birds along their way in flight
All soaring with their inner will
To reach a destination, with coming night
I love to watch the sun set, as colors circle my location
It goes down behind the wooded trees,
Lowering with an aura of elation
Topped off with a comforting breeze
Summer still wears its coat of green
As autumn now knocks on the door
The sunsets will continue to be seen
More beautiful, when leaves land on ground’s floor
Bare trees will open up more views for me to see
Where mountains in the distance will rise
In the breath of winter, falling snow so free,
Will then sparkle in the sunsets for the wise
