Sunsets Crimson Fall

I sit the step and gaze
Beyond the tree that sways
Beyond the hills that call
Over sunsets crimson fall

To a far and distant land
To shores of golden sand
Where two footprints meet
Where two hearts gently beat

The Palm provides a shade
Where sweet love is made
And of kisses borne of fire
To this heart aspire

I sit the step and gaze
Heart and mind a haze
Of where I want to be
Footprints in front of thee

Another peaceful write to brighten my morning. The rhyme and flow are perfect as well as the images created in each vivid line. Smiles from Lolita
