Sunset Tableau


She had been taken
suddenly, too soon
no tears, or sadness
all else just faded
in golden aura
signaling good-bye.

This is excellent, John! Would have liked to see poem higher up the list...congratulations! Like the setting sun, a child's life can also be taken away too soon, but then that would leave sadness and tears. // paul
