This mountain's Rocky top Catching clouds Like fingers through the air Dampens rhododendron blooms And muddies paths we follow up Always, going up Daylight peirces smokie haze Striking peaks A Golden warmth across our face Just enough to set for night And sends us shelters way Together, another day
