Sunset

The long day draws to an end.
Reds, yellows, and orange
dance lazily across the sky,
retreating to their warm bed.
Slowly, the darkness grows
from east to west.
Sunbeams attempt to wrestle free
of its' clutches,
and the horizon
devours the sun.
