Sunset
Nighttime falls
spreading slowly
over the city
The sun left
it’s mark
First as a bright
shining orange
then pink
a hint of red
Vibrant colors
disappear slowly
Deep blue
encompasses the sky
the pale sunlight
changing into
darkness
and it faded
into the soft
sad color
that is now
Indigo.
