Suns Generosity

Night fades away swiftly as brother Sun opens his illustrious eyes; how they glow through the puffball clouds, to enliven the day. He blows out breaths that warm Gaia’s aging chill, she is soothed. Fingers of the Sun Reaching out to Gaia’s back Blanket her shoulders.

I wrote about soaking up my Vitamin D in the sun on Sunday, which may be the same day. Like minds! Wow! I want to say this sounds like personification to me, M.L. but it is your poem, so haibun it is.

Yes, the sun truly gives us so much! ... I really enjoyed reading your wonderful poem M.L. I could literally feel the sun's rays reaching for my shoulders as I read these words :)
