Sunrise Sunset

As in a famous song of old
The two are closely tied
One is a new beginning
The other as daylight died.

In the quiet of early morn
As the sun lifts its head
A promise of things to come
As you rise from your bed.

Once your day has been spent
The sun sinks so you can sleep
For others it is just now rising
The endless cycle is complete.
