The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Sunrise and Coffee

Colors pouring over the ridges
The uncontained paint
Colors that never shined
Braving the sky
Roaring over the plains
The snow reflects the flowers in the sky
Sitting in the back curled in my sleeping bag
The sky feeling like a second cover
Warmer watching the fire roar over the sky
Gazing at the bliss
The brewing can be heard over the fire
Wind picks up the strong coffee smell
Warmth in the sky and my mug

Two of my favorite things — sunrise and coffee (especially if someone else makes the fire and hands me coffee while I'm still in the sleeping bag;-) Beautiful poem capturing the essence of camping on the plains and those amazing sunrises! ~ j
