Sunrise

Golden hills so gently roll
Beneath the bloodshot skies that toll
The coming of the daytime star
With birds beneath flying afar

In distant lands both new and old
The night king's grip starts to unfold
Dark bound souls are now released
By day that comes to set them free

The sun rises on higher still
Above the golden, rolling hills
To bathe the world in light from high
As crows float lazily through the sky
