Sunrise
Dark is so dark
It seems to me
The emptyness is real and
It consumes me
I search for reasons
For things like this
Only to hear this pray
Come to my lips
My child lift your head up
So you can see my light
Open your heart and except my love
The love I have only held for you
Let it ease your soul
And take away that empty hole
Believe in me as I have in you
I will never leave you this I promise you
You felt alone for so long
My sweet child I have been here with you
Through it all
Now go and close your weary eyes
And leave the rest up to me
And allow me to show you how wonderful life can be.
