Sunflowers
She sat there in that sunflower field,
Patiently waiting.
There she walked in,
Wearing a dress that flowed with the breeze
Like the heads of the sunflowers that surrounded.
A smile lit her face that seemed brighter than the sun.
Her fingertips danced across the flowers,
Until her hand connected with the others that were waiting.
The pair danced together,
It was no longer just the breeze making the sunflowers sway,
But, also their bodies that flowed through them.
Such a serene moment,
Where two became one.
When their lips finally connected.
