Sunflower Quilt

Sunflower seeds sewn into the ground Embroidered into rows of beds of brown Pinned down by the sun's rays With warm golden threads  Of brilliant yellows and rosy reds  sewn by the quilter's hand  Stitch by stitch thread by thread  Fabric by fabric she layers the fertile lands and flowing rivers  of blue, green and yellow silken threads. weaving its way into the sprouting beds.
